Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is D100 a 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP garbage disposal?

D100 can be supplied as either a 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP P.M DC garbage disposal. The 1/2 HP version is rated at 370W and 3500 RPM, while the 3/4 HP version is rated at 560W and 3800 RPM.

What makes D100 different from larger DYNA models?

D100 uses an 800ml grinding chamber, making it a more compact option than DYNA models with 900ml, 1000ml, or 1100ml capacity. It is suitable when buyers need a smaller P.M DC disposer platform with selectable 1/2 HP and 3/4 HP versions.

Does D100 use EZ Mount?

Yes. D100 is listed with EZ Mount installation. Buyers should confirm the EZ mounting kit, sink flange parts, stopper, discharge elbow, splash guard, and instruction sheet before sample approval or bulk production.

Are air switch and wireless switch included with D100?

D100 is listed as compatible with air switch control and wireless switch control. Buyers should confirm whether switch accessories are required in the order, packed separately, or handled as optional accessories.

Can D100 connect to a dishwasher drain?

Yes. D100 supports dishwasher connection. Buyers should confirm dishwasher drain hose connection to garbage disposal, clamp or adapter requirements, discharge elbow alignment, and whether the instruction sheet should show this step for the target market.

EZ Mount Garbage Disposal Installation Checks for D100

The following is a short EZ Mount installation check for D100. It is not a full installation manual. Electrical connection should be handled by a qualified electrician, and the final mounting kit should match the confirmed order configuration.

  1. Prepare the sink flange and mounting parts. Check the order of the stopper, splash guard, sink flange, gasket, support ring, mount ring, and cushion mount before working under the sink.
  2. Seat the sink flange and support ring. Use the correct gasket or putty method for the sink material, then tighten the support ring so the flange does not move.
  3. Install the cushion mount and mount ring. Make sure the cushion mount is seated correctly and the mount ring can move into position without obstruction.
  4. Prepare the dishwasher connection if required. If the kitchen uses a dishwasher drain connection, remove the knockout plug and connect the dishwasher hose with a suitable clamp or adapter.
  5. Attach the discharge elbow. Fit the elbow gasket and discharge elbow, then check that the plumbing connection can align with the outlet pipe.
  6. Lock the disposer onto the EZ mount assembly. Guide the disposer projections into the mount ring slots, rotate the disposer into position, lock the mount ring, run water, and check for leaks.
